We've used it for all of our drinking water (6 people) for about 18 month and it is been great. Our household uses about 15-20 gallons per week. We've by no implys had an issue with it. It runs perfectly quiet for us. We love the chilly and sizzling water on demand. We do not use the small cooler within the base, but it keeps chilly. I extremely counsel this item.

Another actually anxious characteristic of the unit is that it dispenses water SLOWLY compared to other versions. Even filling up a water bottle appears to take ceaselessly.
